Taking a truly tragic event and making up a ridiculously but-what-about Carrey's ex when Jem did not like a painting he did of Trump went too far in my book.

He tries to pass off cherry picked snippets (like he does with climate) to make a house of cards argument that Carrey was responsible for his ex-girlfriend's death so Trump is ok.. He just refuses to say sorry he was wrong in this instance, in incredible bad taste. Doubling down by just restating his errors and not taking the slightest effort to research further (just read one more page or two).

Jem is LAZY. He literally takes this as far as not pressing shift to make a capital letter. Whatever the shortest & lowest path is, he will be on that.
