Trading view have a smartphone and iPad app.I wish that they had an app that you can download to your computer to make it work a bit faster during the busy periods but other than that its really excellent charting.

Hello Atikon,I'm not deep into TA so this might be self evident to some ppl but why would you use Tradingview when you have a TDA Account for example? Is it because of the possiblity to program? What am I missing here? Why would you pay 60 USD for something you can get for free from your Broker?
Then your problem must be that you looking at it backwards..... There is nothing in TA that predicts or estimates probabilities whether a market trend will continue or not, or whether a trend shift is imminent ....
They have a limited data feed no? You have to buy NYSE data feed, don't offer NYSE data feed for Indices

TA is backward looking not forward looking. Price Action and shifts in market expectations tell you where the market is headed, not TA. There is nothing in TA that predicts or estimates probabilities whether a market trend will continue or not, or whether a trend shift is imminent hence looking at moving averages, or indicators tells you how price got to where it currently is, but not where it is headed.
You presume much, Grasshopper.
That line of thinking will not take the pebbles from my hand, so it is not time for you leave-- Master Po.
Solid line of reasoning. I expected nothing less from a TA pundit who drives by looking the entire time into the back mirror.
Hmmm.... can't discuss TA with you as you obviously know nothing about it.
