Why Do People Buy At A Top?

agree plan and psychology are my favourite and few other of course

again today OXBT done many high --- as I type hod 9.25 but IMO still go some more to give --- but I stop here...
I have been posting this for few day it was under $3 (I think) and look now...
wow at the mo did another HoD 9.75 so you see can be some possibility to buy at the to (HoD)
as I have mentioned before I scalp it so this strategy might not work for swing etc.....



Only buy the winners the loser come on their own :)

The original question asked why do people buy at tops in general, not whether this point in time is a top or not.
 
I feel "top" is different for different traders. if you look at OXBT, for me the top was when it broke my resistance trendline @ 7.60, I traded..

That is the beauty of trading…. different ideas with different strategy but with a unique outcome; making $$$$$

IMHO the point isn’t who is who or he/she is better the him/her but merely post some thoughts….

agree....
If I scalp my "top never come" providing it goes up and volume
regarding OXBT I traded (scalped) at 6.10 + 7.04

I insist by saying "scalp" so don't criticise me if you are not a scalper (I can assure and prove to some of you that I am not a sucker) but I do accept constructive criticism only if they are within the topic

together we can climb mountain :)

Ciao, I scalp too! I understand what you are saying.
For me it's all price action and trendline, though price takes over SR sometimes.Trade takes place at such a speed, before I realize I have traded!
