Why do newbies lose?

Well, one thing is for sure, and that is that Ninza.co is no longer a newbie to the existential interlude that is ET when it comes to starting a thread outside of sponsorship purposes.

Bet most posters in this thread forgot who started it, haha.

My introduction to trading was through an old girlfriend whom I found was dealing kilos of black tar heroin via contacts made while teaching Sunday School for LDS kids. One day we flew to meet her supplier in Bogota who was a 100-lot ES daytrader. It amazed me how someone could trade 100-lots at a time!

That was all that I needed to know...
Question please:

Did your Ex-GF have no Teeth, Boils, Sores and reek from 30 feet away like SML's Crack-whore Ex-GF?

Hey SML;

Don't want to read books, here's a video that reviews it for you. Take 10 minutes of your busy life and take a look. You'll probably like the guys attitude.

Hello deaddog,

I do not watch trading teaching videos or read trading books and I never ever will. Unless the person in the video or author of book provides me proof of trading +100 ES contracts for +1 years.

I already watch trading training videos on how to trade the ES market and the person in the video teaching was good enough for me.

Continuing trading education is overrated and causes set backs. My brain does not like Trading theories anymore. Trading theory is a lie unless proven otherwise.

Me clicking buy and sell button +50 times a day is my only needed teacher.

That's cool. It's not a teaching video. it's a book review of what a famous trader went through. Kind of like yourself. The first thing he learned was how to lose. That's a skill you seemed to have mastered. Now the next step is how to win. Good luck!!

Good Evening taowave,

A real trader does not read trading books sir. I am not sure why you having a hard time understanding this. Why in the world would someone read a trading book for? The author is Scammer and Liar and Con Man waiting your time and energy and money.

I am not sure why you are struggling to understand this for. Reading trading books is Scam.

Did Bill Gates read a book to start Microsoft? How about Steve Jobs with Apple, did he read a book? Elon Musk?

You think Jim Simmons read books on trading. Come on man, I should not have to explain this to you. Think a bit different then norm.

How will you get to +500 ES contracts reading a book? You will not, what you need is independence of critical thinking and problem solving or a team of VERY smart ES traders in a room. Permanent corrective action to root cause problems. ES Problem Solvers and ES Solution Based Traders.

Tap Root Engineering skills, not reading no damn stupid ass trading book.

I am Not reading no damn book about trading. I am ES Engineer Trader. Engineers do not read books, we are the book. We define our own books.

Your examples are ironic, they are all avid readers.

Bill Gates went to Harvard, while an infamous dropout, he currently reads about 50 books/yr.

Steve Jobs went to Reed and also well read, mostly spiritual books.

Musk claims to read 100+ books/yr.

Jim Simmons got degrees from MIT and Berkeley - hard to imagine getting degrees without reading books.

Kinda sounds like your parents might be in Academia.

I get it. You want to re-invent the wheel.

Good Evening Sprout,

Good for them. I don't belive in reading trading books and I never will. I personally don't need trading books in my trading.

And I have not read a book since college and I never will again. I only needed to read those books to pass exams and make money after graduation.

I only read the ES price charts.

Thank you

The one you are gonna write about “How to get rich quick by trading 100 ES Contracts, in your spare time, pushing buttons.”

Kidding aside, I have no idea what would provide value for you.

Probably more on the mindset side of the equation rather than technical. Maybe the Stoics or auto/biographies of those you consider role models. You seem to come across as someone who would appreciate Marcus Aurelius, Seneca or a primer by Ryan Holiday. Audio books might be the way.

Wow...I mean WOW!!

At least read about the 1987 stock market crash. Read about the 2000/2001 dot.com bubble. Read about the 2008 financial crisis. That is history dude...You can learn from history can't you?? You could even look them up on Wikipedia...Very little reading.

You are a market maker's dream come true...

Good Evening Sprout,

Why do I need to listen to audio books of Marcus Aurelius, Seneca or a primer by Ryan Holiday? Who are these people? And are they trading 50-100 ES contracts?

Starring at the ES charts every day and clicking Buy or Sell button at +100ES contracts is all the value I need.

Another value option is watching +300 Real Time trades of someone or something trading 50-100ES contracts.

Until then, I do it myself and show everyone as I said above.
