I really have a hard time keeping track of my trades...Entry, exit, options, captured dividends. Some stand out, but I am not going to go back into the bowels of my trades at Schwab or Fidelity (Morgan Stanley even longer) or even here, and see what I have done.
I believe I have traded Apple 4 to 5 times over my lifetime. I can't recall the trades. I believe I made at least a 10% annualized return on it. Others, I admit my failures...
About 98% of my trades, I DO NOT remember my entry and exit points. They are unimportant for the most part...I am sure you do the same.
General principles rather than being exact. So, yes you got me. I do not remember an entry point of a trade awhile back...
However, imagine, if instead of buying AAPL at 120, sold a covered, or buy META @ 90 & sold a covered..., used the fund to buy long dated deep OTM calls.
