Why do most of busted fills rip you off?

Today I had a partially broken trade in my favor in ITW. I bought the thing a dollar over the offer by accident. The other party let half the shares go in a negotiation. Anyone here?

BTW you can see someone bidding .01 and double the price for 100 shares in many stocks right now (stock777?). Can't believe someone wouldn't contest that.

Yes, afterhours. Each ECN determines what is bustable on a case by case basis. I have had legitimate afterhours trades busted against me even though I said "no bust."
