Why do folks reveal Profitable Strategies, are they NUTS?

quick Google search found this lil gem: "I did try to wade through it but couldn't make any sense of most of it. I am referring to the Futures thread. How many ES FTT trades do you actually trade each day? If the technique is such an edge, why not trade each and every one?Quote from Spydertrader:

I don't 'just' trade the FTT's. The market provides other signals which indicate change throughout the day. As a result, I have between 8 and 14 trades on any given day.
However, if one only traded the FTT's Yesterday,
A beginner would have had between 2 and 7 trades.
