Why do certain threads get deleted?

There was a thread in the economic section on Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, relativity etc that just disappeared. Any reason for this?

Have you looked around the site maybe the thread "popped" up some other place

a few days ago i read a commentary on the health care bill by an ET member that claimed he was a constitutional law attorney. i wanted to reread his comments, but that thread appears to have disappeared as searches for it have proven fruitless...perhaps my searching is substandard...any comment by mods or Baron as to what may have happened to the thread?
