Why Did the Democrats Lie So Baldly about the Memo?

I believe it is fair to think that it is about time that we include Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) into the
Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition.

It is very obvious TDS makes people who suffer from it completely unreasonable.

Why Did the Democrats Lie So Baldly about the Memo?

images

Adam Schiff, Dianne Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, among seemingly dozens of Democrats, not to mention half the mainstream media, had been warning us for days that the release of the memo authored by Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee would place our national security at grave risk. "Sources and methods" would be revealed.

Now that we have seen the memo, it's clear that was an absolutely bald-faced lie of the most obvious sort. Nothing in it impacts national security in the slightest. There's no mention whatsoever of any "sources and methods."

Unless they were lobotomized, those Democrats and their dependable PR team (aka the media) must have realized they were blatantly lying to the American public. Evidently, they didn't care. How're we now supposed to trust what these people say about anything? Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus.

‘All smoke, no fire’: Law professor dissects Nunes memo and finds it ‘punts’ when it comes to facts

Joining the chorus of legal and political experts deriding House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes’ (R-CA) dud memo is law professor Orrin S. Kerr, who said the four-page document is “more confusing than illuminating.”

In his Saturday op-ed for The New York Times, Kerr noted that Nunes’ memo is supposed to make the case that the Department of Justice and the FBI purposefully omitted key facts when applying for a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant for former senior Trump campaign aide Carter Page. According to the University of Souther California law professor, however, they fail even to do that.

“Even assuming the memo’s claims are true — which we can’t determine from the document itself — it still does not establish an ‘abuse’ of the foreign intelligence laws,” Kerr noted.

Yes it does. The FBI and DOJ presented oppo research paid for by the Clinton campaign as credible facts when they knew very well it wasn't. They counted on Hillary winning so no one would ever look into it.

Sorry but that is a bogus argument. New York Times/Univ of California. look for the lefty key words.

Just a very short while back, the dems and the fbi denied/or hid under the bed covers when asked if a dossier existed or had been used on to obtain the warrant. This memo and the feverish dance that the dems are doing now has certainly put an end to that.

Now that that genie cannot be put back into the bottle, the dems are trying to move on to defending it rather than denying it or denying that Clinton paid for it or that the fbi coordinated with fusion or that they participated in phony leaking to the press.

Nope. Prof. Lefty's little argument is not going to work because his premise is wrong from the get go. It was never about arguing about omissions in the warrant documentation- That is simply the corner that the dems and the fbi have been backed into now that the cat is out of the bag. And when we see the transcript on McCabes testimony the lefties will be reduced to quibbling about what the meaning of "is" is.

It's all good. It's what it looks like when the fbi goons and the dems are put on the defense rather than just being able to say FU, we ain't gonna tell you and my fbi buddies are not going to make us tell you.

Nice parade of fbi types already lined up and scheduled to come back to testify. It's a beautiful thing. Not just the top dogs but also Gummy Bear Page, Strzok, Ohr, comey's assistant who was just demoted or left, Rybicki. Awesome. Better than sex.

Bunch of fucking liars. The committee needs to bag a couple more there by taking their jobs and then prosecuting. And then return back over to the state department and pick up the trail there again with the unmasking, Susann Rice, Samantha Powers, and Obama's role. Need to get Obama under oath too.
