Why did my graphics card have to explode TODAY

Passive cooling is something im going to look into now. As for dust, I keep it clean. Probably should have a redundant system around as well, I have most of it on another computer but some of my software is single use license so I was hesitant to buy two copies just for a backup.

Look into Acronis True Image for "imaging" and "cloning" your hard drive.

I do alot of video editing for fun, which keeps my processors and HDD at 100% for hours on end, and I went with a liquid-cooling system that has options for all major components inside the PC. Look into it. I got tired of my PCs doubling as space heaters.

GT: I'm not trying to be an ass here, but where does that liquid cooler discharge the heat? If it discharges the heat in the same room as the computer (and you) how does that make it cooler in that room?

Seems to me you would need longer hose (and maybe bigger pump) to discharge that heat in another room or outside the building.

Isn't having a liquid cooled pc the same as having a refrigerator door open in a room? It's not going to cool the room because the heat is discharged in the same room.

Just curious from a logical standpoint. Never had liquid cooled so I don't know.

Thanks.
