Why day Trade?

I trade round the clock and might be at my best level ever now

it has been a long hard journey

I had to have some serious drawdowns and failure along the way

but for example last yr I made over 200K and so far this yr

oops ... have to be humble here as mr market might be listening

have made 35K

we all have the ability as human beings to see things differently
and to understand that most of what people tell us is wrong
or if right can be made even better

the typical daytrader is a "flea" and the typical institution battling him or her is the " BIG DOG"

if you can understand the following short video you will be on your way to making it as a day trader

Hmmm....day traders you talk about "only going with the longer term trend" so why even day trade and be restricted by the clock?

To me day trading is "spinning your wheels" It's stressful, you are tied to the quote machine every day. It's not making money every day and from I can see there is more money to be made position trading.

I wonder if day traders have actually considered if they really make more money day trading as to holding fr days at a time?

Any thoughts?

Here's why you sound confused big boy...

if you only have $5,000 capital daytrading is the only way to make a living out this gig.

you get $20,000 to $50,000 leverage depending on futures or forex or stocks.

leverage maximum only reason to daytrade or undercapitalized.

portfolio managers with over 100 million is assets can't daytrade or find it feasible to daytrade

portfolio managers with over 10 billion under management can't even swing trade their portfolio let alone daytrade.

that is the reason for madoff having a ponzi scheme, if had all that stock as he said he had any liquidation would crash the market. and the market isn't that liquid. all that volume is intra-day volume.

To all the ET naysayers:

See?? You have to look for the gems in ET. Yes, there is much noise here. But, do you think there is going to be a place where people constantly post excellent, direct, relevant trading information???

Wake up! Stop whining---Get to work.

Thanks for posting, Seth.

you can't buy or sell million dollar shares in the open market if the float is only 100,000 shares and the market makers these days don't hold any inventory or have any shares.

How much is your expensive fee to teach this style of day trading?

I need some stress and getting tied up to your quote machine, whatever that is.. well.. it's interesting.
