Quote from Pabst:
I would look at the data from repressive, Communist nations with a very skeptical eye.
It's funny. More than a few morons on this board think 9/11 was a hoax yet they accept Cuba's health and mortality figures at face value......
Quote from DeepFried:
You're awfully excited, comrade. Here, soothe yourself with some photos showing the blessed children of the glorious revolution enjoying your statistics.

Quote from Dogballoon:
Adorable! Better yet, whip out pictures of executed Chinese prisoners and recite the names of the millions of souls who died during glorious 5 year plans. For best effect, do it when discussing the estate tax.

Quote from Covertibility:
To even entertain the thought that tax dollars be siphoned away to the nation's healthcare system from the war machine and no-bid contracts to Halliburton is sheer insanity. How are we to defend ourselves from the great Muslim Menace that threatens to overthrow the bigotry we have in the christian party.
In reality, there were a couple studies out a month or so ago that showed Canadians and Europeans were healthier than Americans. The Economist had an article about the failing healthcare system in the US not too long ago. Of course we'll see the boogieman when Michael Moore has his "Sicko" movie at years end.
Quote from Dogballoon:
I couldn't care less about Cuba personally, as I said it would be ironic if even their health care is better than that of the U.S.
Quote from reid5525:
infant mortality rate per 1000 births:
Cuba 6.33
USA 6.50
don't know how fidel does it when they have to line up for food.
of 226 countries listed 42 have lower IMR's than the U.S.

And Americans die less of alcoholism than Europeans.</b>
