Why cant Romney put in the same effort as Perot articulating his plan/ideas?

Quote from Brass:

You'd think that something as precious as freedom would be used a bit more intelligently and thoughtfully in a dangerous, unpredictable and interconnected world. That its value wouldn't be so offhandedly diminished. Isn't it unfortunate that this freedom includes the freedom to disregard the very real consequences of the thoughtless exercise of that freedom?

Well, you just can't legislate your way past stupidity or hate, as we've proven time and again. All sytems ultimately fail because they always under estimate just how far some dumb fuck greedy bastard(s) will go to further his agenda and/or line his pockets. It's a cyclical thing and I'm afraid we've about peaked this time around.

There was nothing to rebut the media's portryal of Perot as a nutjob back then. If there had been an internet to allow a more even handed debate and freer flow of information, Perot could have possibly won, he definitely would have gotten more votes.

Excellent points, brother Hugh.

Romney is a Business man, why not do something like Perot did?

Because he is NOT a businessman. He is a vulture investor, and at best an investor such as others like Buffet --- Buffet is however better than him in at least in scale and record time.

1. I voted for Perot because he provided specifics and because bush senior was a liar and eastern liberal in a fake conservative suit.

2. and brass you are a mental midget asshole leftist... really.
