Why Bother Working?

You mean if someone had a rich father who earned all his money, was taxed on it and then died, leaving it to a wife or child? That's cheating?
Did his father earn it? The kid didn't, one example you've just provided to show my point.

Lol @ "countless".

"Oh woe is me,
oh woe is me!"

A letter arriving at Ricter's home 25 years from today...

Dear Mr. Ricter,

This is to inform you that your Social Security retirement payments have been reduced to zero. Unfortunately the Social Security Trust Fund is broke after we handed out endless fraudulent disability payments since 2005.

Sincerely,

The Social Security Administration

P.S. Enjoy your Retirement!

Mate, I'm one of the boomers who will be gone in 25 years.

Yes, his father earned it. And it was already taxed. If his father wants to buy a yacht with it, or donate it to charity, or give it to his son (his heir), what business is it to you? It doesn't cost you a dime. You think the government should take it? Or tax it all over again?

If someone cheats the welfare system, however, it costs us all. I can't believe you could possibly consider the two being the same. Are you that deluded? Or are you just arguing to argue? Please, Ricter. Save me the time and let me know if you're just arguing.
