Why Bother Working?

It's interesting, typical reps' "cheater detection" is on high when considering the poor, yet their party defends the parasites at the top who merely inherit wealth and rent it out for a "living". The latter part of my statement is my own cheater detection on high--and I tend to ignore the parasites at the bottom.

You mean if someone had a rich father who earned all his money, was taxed on it and then died, leaving it to a wife or child? That's cheating?

No, just waiting for those FACTS!! that there are "millions" of people who undeservedly receive SS disability payments.

Take your time.

Hey Dr. Uneducated .... exactly WHERE did I say there were millions of people undeservedly receiving SS disability payments?

Instead of posting here 24/7 maybe you need to go get a GED or learn to READ and comprehend what tyou read.

Again, I pity you if all you have to do 7 days a week is post here.

Well in that case read the articles, watch the newscast, and investigate it yourself.
I personally believe that over 50% of people receiving SSDI should not be getting it.

The Social Security system was designed to be providing retirement benefits for senior citizens who put into it for many years. Adding SSDI & SSI to the system, non-retirement programs that sucks out billions of dollars per year from a retirement system, is absurd. The politicians who added SSDI & SSI onto Social Security without properly funding these programs should be ashamed of themselves, they effectively have stolen retirement funds from millions of hard working Americans.

The question is to define "not qualify to receive benefits" -- apparently by our government definition all of these people "qualify to receive benefits" --- even the clown I know who sits as home and claims mental disability and refuses to work (while poking fun about how he is scamming the government, and the rest of us are stupid for working).

I know at least 2 people who are receiving SS disability that really don't deserve it. One is merely obese (not the student's parent I cited in an earlier post) and the other is a struggling artist who has an issue with her eye that does not prevent her from doing art or working at any other type job. The attorneys who advertise on TV are ambulance chasers begging people to come in for a consultation. They've posted reasons such as "anxiety" as ways to get disability. And do they just take a base fee? No, they take a percentage of what the 'client' gets in disability as their fee. It's become a joke.

I guess Douche Bag doesn't even have a TV. There have been countless stories on shows like Dateline showing able bodied people on disability receiving benefits. With each post he goes from Dumb to Dumber.

I knew a guy years ago getting workers comp he didn't deserve. I played golf with him repeatedly. But supposedly he couldn't work.
