I'm a full supporter of Gun rights,Believe there should be no restrictions on guns what so ever.The founders of this country didn't want the 2nd amendment for hunting are anything else,it was so that the government could never overpower the people imo


With that said Plexico is a fucking idiot and is against everything responsible gun owners stand for.First of all why would he bring a gun inside a rowdy night club with excess testosterone and alcohol

Second he proved he is clueless about guns and being a educated and responsible gun owner.Anybody thats knows about hand guns know that glocks have very light triggers and no safety and have to be handle very carefully and carried and a good holster with the trigger being covered.This asshole doesn't even carry the gun in a holster but just puts it in his pocket.With that kind of stupidity he deserved to shoot himself.He should have also known to stay out of a place like New York with a handgun

Most pro-second amendment groups support changing laws that conflict with the 2nd amendment, but they do not advocate people actually breaking various firearms laws that they disagree with.

Also it is unlikely that the courts would ever rule that the 2nd amendment gives one the right to carry concealed guns into a night club. Even most states that have concealed weapons permit systems, specifically exclude bars and night clubs as places that concealed weapons can be possessed.

Second Amendment rights don't apply when you're on private property, unless the owner of that property says you can carry a gun on their property. As far as I know, clubs don't want people bringing guns inside, which is why many clubs frisk people who enter.

A 2-year sentence for this guy would be so stupid. He should get probation at worst.

If you carry a gun you are responsible for its safe usage. That includes if you accidentally fire it, if you hit a bystander while aiming at a bad guy, or if you shoot your hunting rifle at a deer, miss, and the bullet travels another 2 miles and then hits someone in a trailer or a car. All your responsibility. If you don't like it, don't carry a gun.

That said, I agree this situation it looks like racism to jail the guy 2 years for an accident. He should get a hefty fine and community service (plus compulsory gun safety lessons), as he didn't intend to commit any crime.
