Federal investigators are looking to freeze the assets of Ruth Madoff, the wife of jailed swindler Bernard Madoff, because of fears she might flee the country or otherwise spirit away some of the $93 million in her name

I'm horrified.

Why? She was his bookkeeper, virtually as guilty as he in all likelihood. Not possible to dispose of that much money without at least a few people being involved. There is so much at stake that i suppose millions will be spent if necessary to find the money.
