why are there no other brokers compete directly with IB?

Now this is important: every broker is different in how they handle equity commissions, futures commissions, E-Mini commissions....and more importantly the MARGIN REQUIREMENTS.
I had to quit IBKR despite their excellent E-Mini commission rates.
Why did I quit ?
Their margin requirements were just ridiculous....you needed a $50k account just to trade a few E-Mini contracts.
Now how stupid is that ? Great commission rate but you can't take advantage of it......LOL !
