Why are moderators posting so much?

You are right, but I agree with him about Marketsurfer. What's funny is Marketsurfer complained about other vendors in his thread when he does the same thing. I also corrected your quote for spelling errors. Your welcome. :-)

I always thought a moderator was a long-time participant who has been granted moderation privileges; effectively a volunteer who keeps things in check for our benefit. Their opinion regarding site rules should be respected. But if they like red and I like blue, so frigging what. Don't like it? There's always the x in the top right corner of your screen.

He's got a point, though. Suppose you wanted to put a POS like Tgregg on ignore -- you can't, because he's a "moderator".

But you can choose to post on another forum somewhere else that he doesn't moderate. It's not like you post any trading related threads or anything. This website won't suffer a hit.

Thanks for quoting me, he's got me on ignore. :D

Moderators that wish to take part in discussions could have a second account which they use only for moderating. Problem solved.

What "problem" is that?

Offended by posters with strong opinions that collide with yours?.....get over it.
