Why are Hussein Obama and Kamala Harris On My Youtube feed begging for money

...But are you forgetting the week before when he BOLDLY stated "I am in it to the end?"

Again... it is what it is.

You're forgetting he also said only a serious health problem would change his mind (he will not run). Before those comments by Biden, a Fox news commentator said to Maria B. to be careful of what you wish for when she stated that Biden should step down in her response to Trump making the same comments...

Biden is too old...he should step down. :D

I find it odd that so many people said Biden has health problems, everybody was guessing (e.g. Dementia, Stroke, Neurological et cetera). On the other side of the fence, many were saying he's too old...too frail...walks too slow...gets lost in his thoughts as he is responding to others...

Now those same people want him back or think he should have never stepped down. :D  :p

COVID-19

Covid bites Biden on the ass "again" but those around him that he's spending time with the most are not getting infected with Covid.

My point, do not underestimate COVID-19 infection especially when the infected person is old and has underlying medical problems. Covid will make the infected person deal with the reality of their underlying health problems that others are not aware of or health problems that others have been ignoring.

Also, the media has been consistently talking about Biden not around, on vacation et cetera as if he does not care since he handed the baton to Harris.

Therefore, I'm guessing that something is going on with Biden's health that we do not know about and should know about considering he still sits as President of the United States.

Regardless, now Trump is on the same line of thought as Biden now that Biden has stepped outside from running for a second term...

Trump is now the oldest person to run for the President of the United States of America in U.S. History of Presidents. There has now been more reports about Trump's health in the past month than there has been this entire campaign.

I call that - The shoe fits...wear it to prevent further rumors.

You might be right that Kamala wouldn't have won primaries but it's an irrelevant clearly virtually every democrat is thrilled that she is the nominee.
That's just party unity. Look at all the Trump haters that have gotten behind him, albeit not quite so enthusiastically. I mean of course the Dem power players are going to paint a "thrilled" face to the public, however if you are referring to the actual voters, I doubt every registered Democrat is "thrilled" with her being the candidate.

The surge in polls indicate otherwise.

Who's "butthurt?" I could care less who they pick. My point is (again imo) she would have lost in an open primary. The party was stuck with her, there's no way they could kick her to the curb. The optics would have been terrible, so they had no choice BUT to rally behind her, because they were stuck. I'm sure if she were just some old white guy of the same competence level, he'd have been replaced in a blink. But this is the party of identity politics, and no way could they kick a black woman who was VP out. It would have been the greatest hypocritical move of all time. This was covered here long in advance by Tree etc. Do you think they WOULDN'T rally behind her lol?

Notice how long it took Barack and Michelle to get on board. They waited till the bitter end, probably because Michelle had to think deeply about running. Had she thrown her hat in the ring, well... we'll never know.

Michelle was never going to run..she had 8 years of this and does not need it at all. DO you know how she is making a living now??? She would never give that up to get involved in this shit show.

Whether the Dems had no choice or not, are there any factions of the Dem party grumbling about it? No only the GOP is claiming about biden because they had a real shot to beat Biden easily and now it is..unclear.

Barack and Michelle were never going to step in until the Convention anyway... tell me how many former GOP presidents/VPs stepped in to speak on behalf of Donnie... zero.

Of course they were going to rally around whoever was the Dem nominee......fucking news flash there, that is what the party does.

Waltz and JD Vance would never have won in any primary yet here they are as VP candidates.

Its not about whether you are butthurt, it is the nonstop whining about some disenfranchisement of Dem voters... they dont care...they dont want trump again. That is all they care about.

Believe it or not, I agree with you. Their process is, by definition, a "setup"... for better or worse, that's exactly what a process is... a "setup" of some kind.

She's better than Biden but that's not saying much. The Dems were in a bind. As much as they wanted to they couldn't pass over her; it would have insulted too many voters. The process isn't perfectly transparent and partially intended to obfuscate this from the "low info" voter. Some people will believe anything and vote Red/Blue no matter what.

But, she's still a weak candidate IMHO and I suspect the "sugar high" will disappear. I continue to think Trump takes PA and the election. The margin is much smaller than it would have been against Biden but competition is a good thing.

How can they overcome their own record in such a short period of time?

I could be wrong, certainly wouldn't be the first time. But we'll see how things turn out.

She is not better, she is just not really old. Nobody had an issue with him in 2020 that supported him, but the past 6 months they felt like he was on a serious decline. It might not be in the law but the person to take over is the VP. No way they were going to undercut their entire government and push Kamala aside. Also, Kamala has been coached heavily and she is not rambling stupidity as much. That is all it might take for Dems to regain trust since everything is image now anyway.

Also what record does she have to overcome? Dems will support her and GOP hates any Dem. She only has to fight for the 3 or 4 states left in the air. For every thing one can claim she did wrong, CNN can show what the administration did right... it is a perception game at this point anyway. Problem is trump is losing ground because he is NOW looking like the old senile guy in the race. Everytime he speaks he gets worse and scares some voters. Whatever Biden rambled, DOnnie now doing it...

He gutted them all in his diatribes. The silence of the lambs.

As I see things... DJT was, and is, an anti-establishment candidate who appropriated the GOP. Lacking the support of establishment figures doesn't exactly hurt him.

AFAIK the Dems tend to embrace a "groupthink" mentality, while the GOP believes in "rugged individualism".

So, for the reasons I stated above it should be clear I don't perceive things the way you do. I will agree, however, that perception matters immensely. It's close and idk what the future holds.

But, when I speak to people from PA, it would seem lady luck still favors Trump a bit.

Then you don't know very far.

Republicans characteristically get in line like good soldiers, all with the same talking points. Year after year. Campaign after campaign. Ever listen to Fox News? I don't recommend it.
