Why are Dems parading a guy that cheated on wife and lied to us?

Quote from Tsing Tao:

Given the choice between Clinton and Romney, I would vote for Clinton any day of the week and twice on Sunday (at Democrat run polling stations, of course).

The problem is, Obama is not Clinton.

Me too. That's what Romney should say. Mr. President, you're no Bill Clinton. I'll bet that would ruffle some feathers.

Quote from Brass:

As far as policy goes, Obama and Clinton are much more alike than not. Therefore, your statement about choosing one over Romney but not the other doesn't hold water. Which in turn means that your distaste towards Obama is more visceral than logical.

Of course. Everyone knows you can only be against Obama if you're a hate filled racist. Obama has little in common with Clinton, other than party affilliation.

Quote from RCG Trader:

Even members of the GOP ( the sane GOP, not this current bunch) like Clinton. He is going to live to see himself ranked as one of the top ten Presidents of all time.
LOL

Quote from CaptainObvious:

Everybody is nostalgic for the 90's. Well, except for the repubs. They're nostalgic for the 50's and that's their problem. People want to take a ride in the Way Back Machine to forget their current trials and tribulations, just not that far back.

That deserves a solid honest smile.

Quote from ChkitOut:

I don't get it. Doesn't seem like a good strategy.

I don't get it either. I saw the commercial with Bill, where he says the repubs want deregulation and how we need to stay on Obama's plan.

Wasn't glass steagall repealed under clinton?

Obama much more alike than not to Clinton?

How can you possibly make this argument from a fiscal perspective?

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

Clinton balanced the budget

And all this time I thought the Republican congress at the time balanced the budget.

Yes. Clinton actually said that the law was no longer relevant. Not his finest hour. But it wasn't Clinton who repealed it.

Quote from Brass:

Only a busy body foreigner Obama loon would make such a ridiculous statement.

But then we're used to that from you.

Interestingly, Bill Clinton NEVER received a majority of the vote in either term as President. Without Ross Perot there never would have been a Clinton presidency.
