Why all the covid-19 threads in politics forum ?

Great forum but why all the covid 19 posts that seem to appear 20 times per day in your politics section? Almost every post is some sensational comment regarding covid 19.
Should'nt covid 19 topics be discussed in your health section?

First, like every other topic, COVID has been made political. It shouldn't be, but such is the world we live in.

Second, according to your post count, you just joined. And you joined just to tell us you don't like that we discussed COVID in the political forum?

The reason why is because there is so much government intervention from national, state, and local levels that are impacting everybody's lives on a daily basis, much of which requires mandatory compliance by citizens. So although I agree that Covid is essentially a health topic at its core, I think we can all agree that it has created and will likely continue to be for a while longer, a political shit show.

There are a few not too smart posters who keep making new threads instead of amending existing ones.

It would make sense to limit to a maximum of two threads created every 12 hours or something as this is a reasonable balance and stops the really pushy guys from flooding it.

Actually, many in Wall Street, Politics and Health / Science.

Thus, not all in Politics.

The ones created in Wall Street tend to get into the financial impact. In contrast, the ones created in the Health / Science section tend to be more about the "science" of Covid-19 and very educational.
