Sure, I mean Germany and France and Norway and Sweden and Spain and Canada and.....well I could list nearly every first world country with programs and leaders you would almost certainly consider "socialist" if they were here in the U.S. and have been for decades now. Shockingly, they're all still first world countries! And I was around in 1996 and am somewhat ashamed to say I very clearly remember the right decrying our imminent descent into socialism just like you are now; because at the time I was one of them!
Maybe you're young like I was then and were raised conservative and haven't had the time, experience, and exposure to enough of the world to come to your own independent conclusions. Which is why I asked how long it would take for your Chicken Little cries to come to nothing before you realized you were being a Chicken Little. I noticed you weren't actually able to answer that, so to set a good example I will. It took me 8 years to realize the whole apoplectic "socialism" screaming of the Republican party was bullshit. I admit I'm not proud it took that long, but I guess better late than never. There, now you have a challenge to beat my time for how long it takes to come to an evidence based view of the world. Good luck!
I suddenly crave chicken nuggets.
Erm, thank you.
*runs away and slams door*
That is funny! Now that we have 3 strains of Covid and unsure if the South African kind even responds to the vaccine, I am dying to see Biden and the stinky c (vp) "controlling the virus" like they have a magic wand or something. Political correctness is slowing the vaccination as the unicorn chasing do-gooders cannot decide how to be "fair" about it... you libs need to be locked up in an insane asylum.Because:
1. It was the most likely outcome, so baked in.
2. Biden is actually going to control the pandemic so business can get back to normal.
3. Anything is better than this dumbfuck.
4. Same applied on election day....
I don't see Trump as the "greatest thing since sliced bread"... so I'm not an advocate of him per se.
I just see him as the "lesser choice of evils" to anyone on the DemoCrap Left.
What is so evil about Trump?
All I see is he has done good things for the Country and it's people.
All those countries that you mentioned (except Canada) rank lower on the economic freedom index than the US. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Index_of_Economic_Freedom Back in 1996 we were ranked 5, now we're 17. We've fallen a lot. Same with GDP per capita. All those countries are lower than the US except for Norway. Spain well under half that of the US. I could go on, but we have had this discussion before.
