Who's your call for the Super Bowl?

Thats like calling "all in" with 10/2 offsuit and winning ( in poker ). Does it make it a good "ALL IN " call? hells no. You just don't risk it at the one with the best RB in the league...sorry, they should have plowed in or lost tryinng..
Ditto. Should have least faked to Lynch and rolled out to right and see if someone comes clear after defense biting on the run fake. Seahawks had enough time to run 3 plays if incomplete passes. Painful to watch such a boo-boo.
Wow man, we agree on every one of your posts. Refs blew that first quarter call. Otherwise though, I liked the way they called the game. They stayed out of the way.
Halftime show as amazing spectacle but music was lame. Did they really think Katy Perry was a good fit for a Super Bowl audience?
Butler was the MVP for sure. How could you pick anyone else? Brady didn't have that good a game. He completed a lot of short passes but he threw two disastrous picks.
That Brady Bunch commercial was the best of a fairly pedestrian group of ads. I thought the Kim K ad was pretty good too.
I haven't seen an explanation for the call. I seriously doubt Pete Carroll made the call. Offensive coordinator probably made it.
Teams often call in two plays, one pass, one run. It's possible they called a run but Wilson changed it to a pass because of the way the Pats set their defense. If that is what happened, I give the coaches credit for having his back.
You have to give the other guy credit. Butler made the play of a lifetime to get that INT. He was lucky not to get PI called. I thought it was a good no call but it was close. Most times that play is a TD.
The other problem with passing there is that it gives the Pats some clock to work with. Two runs would have pretty much eaten up the clock. Of course a run can get stuffed in the backfield and then you have fourth and three and they know you have to pass.
At the end of the day Seattle is a running team. You hate to lose going with Plan B.
