Who's Gonna Clean Up After Hurricane Harvey?

This is gonna be a big deal. Remember...no illegal workers anymore. They get arrested.
So who's gonna do the sh*t work? Cause there is going to be millions of man hours required to do jobs that lets face it... flat out suck.

Is it time to cut the welfare and foodstamp roles for the able-bodied in Texas? Or will Trump have the DOJ do some kind of temporary easing on migrant workers? Hows all this gonna work? What if Mexico tells him to go F himself? And if they do let in thousands of cheap foreign laborers to legally work... who's gonna keep tabs on them? What a great opportunity to get on this side of "The Wall".

Can't wait to see how this one plays out in the MSM.

It will be interesting.Illegals played a HUGE part in cleaning up New Orleans after Katrina.

Well in this case just provide H2 Visas and bring the workers in legally. Just like they do for farm workers. Don't allow of flood of undocumented illegal workers into the U.S.; get some control over who is legally present in our country.

Hell yeah they did. They've cleaned up every frickin hurricane for the last 40 years.
This is gonna be a whole new animal.
You can bet your ass Trump is gonna throw so much funny money down there its not even gonna be funny. Thats his base.

Many of those so-called jobs that flat out suck are called "construction jobs."

I know that the libs may not know many of the deplorables who do that kind of work but there are many. Many who love that work, are skilled, are well-paid, and as disgusting as it may sound to many- they are pro-American. So this will be a mini-stimulus program for them of sorts.

Because so many libs have only heard of work, and not actually have done any- there is an assumption that all work must be done by illegals or shipped to China- unless it is working in Silicone Valley. Not so. Plenty of hardworking competitive entrepreneurial americans in this country- they dont have john kerry bumper stickers on their car so you might not notice them.

We need absolutely zero workers from mexico to help on construction work related to the hurricane. If the labor market is tight, then employers may need to pay more. This is how wages rise, for you dems who are not old enough to remember. There are americans all over the country willing to load up tomorrow and head where the jobs are- except if you are planning on paying them the same amount that you are planning to pay an illegal then it does not work does it.

In some instances there could be a role for government to help with training and jumpstarting recovery. You know, among many other reasons, the reason that Obama's stimulus program was a failure was because there was an assumption that there were shovel ready jobs but there were not or at least the bureaucrats did no know. Some some real goofy-arse stuff was funded. I am no necessarily opposed to subsidized job training where something real is being accomplished and the skilled labor remains in the market rather than going back to mexico. I imagine there are some "shovel ready" jobs in the hurricane zone.

Read it and weep.

No one's talking about skilled trades. The tradesmen are NOT the shit jobs. Licensed trades have never been a problem in disaster recovery for the very reasons you speak of. Their premium price-tag has always been accounted for in the underwriting actuarial's for high risk zones.

But for every $75/hr electrician, HVAC tech, plumber, finish carpenter, lineman etc.... there are probably at least 10 illegals heretofore making less than $10/hour. So like you said, wages will just have to go up because there are no "entrepreneurial Millennials" that are gonna operate a pan-shovel for 12 hours a day at $10/hr. So yeah, when you start paying $35 an hour to chainsaw fallen trees and dig mud out of basements, America's youth will probably show up. So like I said, this one is gonna be a whole new game.

This reminds me of the time that liberal Kelly Osborne thought she was really pulling a zinger on Trump only to find that it backfired on her, bigly!

LMAO
What a dope
If that was a conservative she would have been called a racist, been threatened with death, her and her family would be attacked by the media and left wing goons in public, gotten fired, and then blacklisted.

There are no 75 dollar and hour tradesman anywhere, let alone down south. There are no "entrepreneurial" millennials going to operate a shove at any price unless they can do it remotely via a robotic arm. Your point is however understood that unskilled illegal labor will be more of a challenge to find. Guess those contractors raping the government for those clean up contracts will have to part with a few more shekels.

Just make sure there's an equal number of women cleaning up the slimy grudge on the streets.
That's what we demand.
