It’s no secret that we’re in the midst of a public health crisis in California. But public school children — more than 6 million students — are suffering through a silent crisis at home and they desperately need our help before it’s too late.

For the last 10 months, most public schools in this state have shut their doors and opted for remote education. Kids have been forced to limit their social interactions to a Zoom square on their computer if they are lucky enough to have a stable internet connection. Playgrounds have been locked and spending time with friends and family isn’t allowed.

To a child, this feels like an unbearable punishment that's lasting a lifetime. They feel alone, in the dark. Many lack the coping resources and connection to caring adults to help them make it through this difficult time.

Who will hold Trump and his brash army of Covid deniers responsible for the massive fatalities and infection rates that occurred in the US ? Almost three times worse then Canada a very similar country geographically, economic system, urban population percentage.

Certainly the Covid Deniers on here ( eg Jem, Buy1Sell2, Turkeyd, Tsing Tao, ... ) have shown no accountability for their theories and to this day refuse to acknowledge what the data tells them. The false narrative got so bad I blocked all of them only so much bs one can read. I'll bring them back to like once Covid is defeated and we can look over the final outcome.

Problem is, COVID will never be defeated. In this context, it really will be "just like the flu", because we'll have to get vaccinated for it every year since it seems to have a propensity to mutate like the flu does, every year.

So social distancing and masks and all that shit will be forever our life now, for eternity, because the COVID is so much more DEADLY than the flu. According to "research".

I really hope I am alive if/when rabies or Mad Cow gets airborne and as contagious as Influenza.
It will be interesting watching the entire world die.
 
Only a fuckin brainless idiot calls those who request policies which are matched to the data, Covid deniers. I told these non data morons that we have to consider the damage lockdowns do to kids. Selfish pricks that they are...they just attacked... and supported failed lockdown policies...foreign trolls and morons that they are. They don't have the brain power to think in systems. They are just selfishfearful fools.

I talked to a nuclear scientist today, who is now an ER doc. She said this is all about pre diabetic, diabetic , overweight and hypotensive people. She said the govt should be telling those people the really have to do more to protect themselves. Including wearing masks around family members.

I was like wait to the moron lefties at ET here about this. That us exactly what I have been saying...minus the mask part.

Jem trying and failing to blame covid for his own kids spoiled response of can't play golf daddy, my life is destroyed! (or they have their nurse mom's nature and he is lying about them).

People who are immune compromised etc. ARE being extra careful Gnus. Through the hospice work I am in FB groups for half the conditions known to man.

What do I see over and over? Grandmother's terrified on discovering their son's no mask wearing trumpet boss has given their kid/grandchild covid and now they don't know what to do with home. Alternatively they themselves must work and co-worker don't give a shit.

But Jem's kids were inconvenienced for a few months! Lives entirely destroyed! he says.

Smart nuclear scientist lady says Gnus smart! Not dumb!

Jem's kids probably know enough to not talk about Covid when Dad is around. I guess San Diego's changed somewhat since he was out at soccer practise complaining about his "freedoms" with other parents. Covid just went way over his head and he's too vain to admit it.
 
Kids can not go to school, but I just saw a bunch of them with their parents in a restaurant. And I see tons of them in grocery stores. I see them all over the place, just not in school.

It's mental abuse.
