Who were your teachers/mentors?

Have you ever thought, of meeting him in real life & personally saying thanks ?
e.g I would like to meet, someone from here, to say - thank you/to have a cup of coffee. Maybe for the first and the last time. Just, sounds, - like the right thing to do (?)

I have no idea how to contact him at this time. He has not posted here in almost 5 years. I guess I tagged him in part hoping he might still be alive and well and reaches out to me. I do not respond to most PM's but you can bet I'd respond to his.

Yup, that sucks, loosing contacts with people like that.
Having at least their secondary email, or the 3'rd one, always helps.

Here at ET @dbphoenix

I have made no secret that I have also benefited from books and materials from others outside of ET.

But dbphoenix was the one helped me to see the path. I hope he is well and enjoying life.

actually it was different

mine was based on error error and even more error
I appreciate your honesty! The theme of this thread is pertinent to me right now. I’m trying to decide if we need to trade my time or not given my age. Finding a mentor, seems to be a bit life searching for a needle in a haystack. Lots of people out there wanting to sell their services, which is exactly what I don’t want.
