So here is the deal. Its going to cost $6 billion to get there which they hope will be paid for by media exposure. The good news is, anybody can apply to be the astronaut that goes to mars. Bad news for you traders out there though. It takes 20 minutes for the signal from your computer to reach earth and get your trade executed and another 20 minutes to get confirmation. The other bad news is, if you get sick of mars...too bad, you are there for the rest of your life. No return trips. Part of me would like to do it. How about you guys?

I can reasonably expect to live another 40 -50 years on earth,cant say the same about mars :cool:

I saw an interview with him on tv (I think Sat), very interesting. Showed the plants he bought, how his co works, he might hit the big time with gov't contracts.

i cant believe what this guy has accomplished in such a short amount of time, and his space x program is just nuts, i used to build space shit with my legos as a kid, this guy is doing it in real life, and tesla is probably the best electric car out there.
