Good grief. If you drank, an options discussion would become the equivalent of Einstein's "Spooky action at a destriero."

I.E. Quantum UN-entanglement.
 
2023 was a great year for me in terms of PNL but personally the worst year of my life. Upheaval in my personal life and I don't see the upside of carrying any negative habits with me in 2024 and ET is clearly one of them.

I am taking a PM gig in 2024 and think it's time to say goodbye. I won't be allowed to post here, anyway. My email is on my profile but I mostly use becket at gmail if anyone feels the need to contact me. GL to all, even the haters.

just watch the lack of self control come forth -

the only way to make money is selling naked options - any other option strategy is just a way toconserve the clients money so the broker can maximize the number of commissions they milk out of their clients. that's why brokers push these crazy complicated option ideas to bleed the client slowly, cause every broker knows everyone is a loser.

My former trading coach ( a successful trader actually) sold tons of naked options during the Japanese mega-tsunami crisis.
Because of the extremely high margin requirement, he had to reduce his open position.

His trading technique is unique - when his confidence level is high, he would place a huge bet.
