Who Shall We Get Next?

Whether we want it or not, war against Iraq is pretty much an inevitability...

I have always been keen for us to smoke out and give justice to genuine threats... although I don't agree with reasons for the war on Iraq, I am pretty much resigned to it happening, so I will support our soldiers in the implementation of the war....

I have compiled a list of potential targets that we could conceivably be bombing in due course... personally, my first preference for military targeting is Saudi Arabia (for funding terrorism based on Saudi Wahabbist principles)... my second preference for a good bombing is Pakistan (for training terrorists and for its continued support of International Terrorism)... we should drop the hypocrisy and start calling a terrorist a terrorist, instead of calling terrorists our allies...

I have not chosen North Korea for pragmatic reasons... if we hit them, we could trigger a devastating (for all) showdown with the Chinese i.e. in effect a 3rd world war... that's why I would prefer we take the diplomatic route with North Korea... it cannot be in our interests to get nuked...

I believe the choice should be based on a combination of (1) threat (2) potential losses on our side in taking out the threat... I think we can get the Saudis and the Pakistanis with minimal damage to our side, since the Saudis don't have nukes and the Pakistanis don't yet have an intercontinental delivery system for their nukes...

I agree with you that the North Koreans are probably the biggest threat... but somehow I can't see us taking them out, cos they have nukes with an intercontinental delivery system... and they have China backing em up...

On the other hand, we can take the Saudis out pretty easily, and we can take the Pakistanis out pretty easily too, before they get to the stage of North Korea i.e. before the Pakistanis can deliver the Islamic nuclear bomb on an intercontinental basis...

i say go for Iran. right next door.. you can really keep the momentum going... plus the vast majority of their population would probably roll out the red carpet for the US to topple their government...

Yes, Iran is a good choice for some carpet bombing (since they threaten our allies Israel), but I still think we should focus our efforts on hitting the evil Saudis and the Pakistani fanatics... we can always use the spare bombs on Iran at a later date... or maybe we can just give Israel the go-ahead to nuke the Iranians, whilst we focus our efforts on the Saudi scum... an alternative way to get the Iranians is to arm our new allies in a post-Saddam Iraq with weapons of mass destruction, so that they can quickly destroy the Iranians...
