Turveyd is the most idiot person on ET. Nobody can beat him in stupidity.
That's why I blocked him already a long time ago.
He pretends to be an expert in any domain, and all people that don't agree with him are by definition idiots.
But in general people who pretend to know everything, in reality know nothing.
I wonder what kind of education he had (if he had any).

He's a pessimistic negative person and Covid Pandemic is usually a difficult pill to swallow for someone like that.
The good news...the world is opening up except for areas with outbreaks of Covid Delta Variant. It's resulting in some areas reinstituting face mask wear. The only problem is the growing vaccination requirements by governments / employers and the growing protests.
- People need to choose...wear a face mask, get vaccinated, or drop dead (sarcasm)

I think you're going to hear more hospitals like this as the Delta Variant becomes stronger in North America.
Thus, right now, the unvaccinated represent about 95% of those hospitalized. As each week goes by... that % will slowly decrease for the unvaccinated and begin to rise for the vaccinated.
I hope hospitals are keeping track of the type of vaccine the infected vaccinated got their jab with so that the data can be used to determine which specific vaccine efficacy has changed and which vaccine needs a booster.
You should ask your wife if the infected vaccinated that come to the hospital have milder symptoms than the infected unvaccinated.

I agree I hope they are tracking the vaccinations these people had, and the degree of symptoms. At least partly they must be fairly ill to head to the hospital, but I know what you mean in terms of severity.
I don't really care who wants to attack for throwing out facts, although they are pretty basic facts at this point without detail. Mostly what pisses me off is the spinning on both sides of what should be a purely fact based story.

This means nothing statistically within the ET community but just to say I am double covid vaccinated. This was with the AstraZeneca vaccine. I am in the UK.
We expect to hear an announcement here soon concerning whether we will also be offered boosters in the autumn, combined with a flu vaccine (previously only offered to very elderly or immuno-suppressed individuals. Although all UK adults are targeted for double vaccination, I suppose its always possible the booster will not be universal.

Lamar Jackson tested positive for Covid, for the second time. (because it was fun for the first time I guess) He just finished a camp for kids.
He was not vaccinated because fuck multi million dollar contracts. It will be interesting to see how it effects his playing ability, since Cam Newton's went down after catching the virus.
