Who is Woodie???

On reflection I reckon that this thread has provided an invaluable insight for woodie into the general perception of his room.

I have no doubt that he reads this thread himself and hope that he uses its content to correct some of the more unpleasant attributes that have been allowed to infiltrate the room over recent times such as the blatant commercialisation and cult-like promotion of the room.

As I have said before the room has many redeeming qualities and undoubtedly provides a useful assistance to newbies and others who have not spent enough time analysing trading techniques for themselves. Perhaps this last comment explains why so many regard it as a 'holy grail'?

I am not an advocate of cci trading myself having analysed it in depth and find other indicators to provide better and more reliable trading signals. However the room is nominally free and provides a useful resource in the world of trading.

Lets just hope that it can be policed and managed in a manner more fitting to its noble principles and less insulting to those more intelligent amongst us.

Would you name those indicators that provide better and more reliable trading signals then CCI ? CCI is IMO easier to read then Stoch or MACD for example.

Why do you mention better indicators, if you can even name them for the sake of a TA discussion ? Believe me , I do not need your help .

I don't read what doesn't interest me. As for the posts, they add up over time. Why not read them all? That would be even sadder still.

Since it seems so important to you and others in this chat that you see "proof" of trading statistics, and since you personally challenged me to show proof that I am profitable trading the CCI, here you go. This is my todays trading in EUR. Note that the time stamp on the top of the BT window matches the time stamp on the computer clock and the quote in the BT quote window is the EUR price at that time, dare you say I have doctored something. Oh yes and check the entry and exit prices versus todays chart as well. This is one account, I trade multiple accounts.

Now I expect the same from you Roberk and any other individual on this chat that dares someone to post their "statistics".

one day means little to nothing. if a system or method is not statistically back testable claims and short term verified results are meaningless. you are a doctor, a man of science--you know this to be true.

the request made on this thread was not for one follower of woodie's room ( who may happen to be an excellent trader ) to post results--but for woodie himself to answer the questions brought fourth earlier.

there are multitudes of trading systems that can be tested, this guru based nonsense doesn't stand a chance among those in the know.
