I am quite surprised by the results.
Now for the results on your posted trades (drbob101):
Out of the 8 trades you made I had 5 at the exact times as you. The 3 I did not get had to with TrendLine breaks. Which I understand, but have not yet trained my eye to spot. The rest were quite easy.
Trade#1 8:15 Long ES at 1116.00 * +3.00
Trade#2 8:47 Long ES at 1118.50 +3.50
Trade#3 9:43 Long ES at 1122.00 +2.00
Trade#4 10:15 Short ES at 1124.00 * +2.00
Trade #5 11:05 Long ES at 1120.50 * +3.00
Trade #6 11:15 Short ES at 1123.00 +4.00
Trade#7 12:00 Short Es at 1118.00 +6.00
Trade#8 12:32 Shorts ES at 1111.00 +6.00
You are 8 for 8 profitable on this day. Not only profitable but those trade locations were amazingly precise.
Points profit Total ES 29.50 as a conservative estimate.
* Trades utilizing trendline breaks.
This is astonishing considering you had no prices. I use MACD and STochastics along with just about everything a discretionary trader uses to make market calls. But I can't make blind calls such as this with any of those indicators.
I am ordering Hotcomm today. I'll see you in chat next week.
Thanks for the help drbob101.
Best Regards,
Dave Scott

Being the old stick in the mud that I am, I use MAs to trade with the CCI on a 150tick and 15 min charts. Works fine on that too.

I would agree with Matilda's review of Woodie's CCI room. I used to frequent quite often but became extremely tired of the cult atmosphere and, moreover, the fudged trades. VERY few of the moderators make calls real time, and the ones that do have winning %'s way lower than the stated 75%. The trade-posters are much the same. A few post entries and exits very quickly and seem legit, but most will post their winners well after the fact, and then mysteriously "break even" after a trade has clearly gone against them.
Woodie loves making calls after the fact. He'll alert you to a "possible" set-up, and then take credit for having "made the call", if it goes well. If it doesn't go well, it's never discussed again.
Heaven forbid anyone mentions another indicator! He will be threatened with expulsion instantly! This is where the cult aspect comes in again.
All that said, there is a lot of info and exchange of ideas for a small price. While the group is cultish, they do seem sincere. Woodie is prone to great exaggeration, but he is no scam artist. The CCI is hardly the Holy Grail, but can be a valuable tool in one's arsenal. Just bring a big grain of salt with you if you join the room.

who in their right mind would hang out for 8 plus hours per day, 5 days a week, (if not more), and could afford to lose money for any length of time? Not many, obviously.
