Who is this dumb bitch that McCain picked as VP Nominee?

The name sounds familiar. I play all over the city. If he plays at WesLoop, East Bank or LA Fitness with any regularity, probably. But I get around. In the summer I'm in the Hyde Park area sort of regularly too. I play both indoor and outdoor. And found out last week that I'm still semi-pro capable. :)

They may have a bit of trouble chewing and swallowing the teenage non-abstinence part.

Actually they won't. The RR are very big on sin and forgiveness. The young girl has sinned but has asked for forgiveness thus she will be absolved. Hey look at Tammy Fay (may she rest in peace) and all the other TV evangelicals....the crying for forgiveness is a big part of their appeal. We are all sinners but with Gods love and forgivness we will all be made whole. Praise the Lord!!! (and pass the offering)

Your post reminds me of Jimmy Swaggart...

How did she come to that conclusion? Why? Who knows, maybe she thinking of herself as the one who could die, so in that case she can justify it. Or maybe god told her that.

Rings a bell. George Bush had a metaphysical whisper in his ear telling him to strike at Saddam and to go and end the tyranny in Iraq which he did and the rest is History.

Seems like Sarah Palin is definitely in the same mold as Dubya. She currently does and will continue to have metaphysical whispers in her ear and dare I say, may one of these days start "speaking in tongues" presumably while stumping on the campaign trail.

Let God provide the direction for the war in Iraq and may his will prevail in this besieged and strife torn part of the world. Hear Hear Ms Palin! Incidentally, you attended the sermon given by David Brickner when he admonished jews who don't accept Jesus as their savior vide : Brickner also described terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's "judgment of unbelief" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity.

"Judgment is very real and we see it played out on the pages of the newspapers and on the television. It's very real. When [Brickner's son] was in Jerusalem he was there to witness some of that judgment, some of that conflict, when a Palestinian from East Jerusalem took a bulldozer and went plowing through a score of cars, killing numbers of people. Judgment — you can't miss it."

I would pay 5 grand to see Palin speak 'in tongues.'

I'm not making this shit up. The church she attends today promotes this practice.

Far be it for me to be hostile to religion, but wtf....

Palin is a right-wing fundamentalist nutjob. If that's the type you want in the WH she's your woman.

Neither party really does it for me these days but the only thing worse than a Democrat - any Democrat - in office would be four more years of Republicans. Palin is just a marketing gimmick, trying to put a new face on the same old ways and policies.

Try and look past Obama's pledge to raise the cap gains rate and see what the Republicans have done to this country for the past 30 years. They certainly talk about conservatism, fiscal prudence, and small government but I'll be damned if I can see it. All the GOP does is borrow borrow borrow, spout simple-minded nonsense and preach hard-core Christianity.
