Who is the richest here?!

good to read that ^^^

so you are not financially poor, or rich or middle class .... just working class, now would that be white collar or blue collar working class?

and with some funds to play the market/win or lose

Dirt Broke, can't remember class system, poor parents, always worked, IT consultant mainly, cheap house, cheap car, poor town but good Mountain Biking near :)

Funds I've built up over the years via trading part time, I started with $300 a long time ago and haven't really added any in ages.

I have money saved up but living small and meager. I have a small apartment and a truck that's worth less than 5k. I've decided I don't ever want to be someone that shows off their money through material possessions, just knowing money is there in case I need it is comforting enough

It's not what you make it's what you keep. Wealth is time freedom.

So many definitions of rich. Using trading account size as the yardstick is small thinking.

There are many types of riches.
If you have a happy marriage... you are rich. NO!
If you are proud of your children... you are rich. Useless nut job!
If you wake up everyday with no pain... you are rich. Back and Knee pain!
If you've learned how to enjoy each moment.... you are rich. Errrrrr some, so no!!
If you have friends that would lay down their lives for you... you are rich. Hell no!
And I don't care what anyone says, if you wake up in America free... you are rich. UK and not free defo not these days.
Hahahha

This is such a terrible way to look at it.

If I lived in a third world country I could get by on $1200 a year. If I live in California I can't get by making $65,000 a year. Should someone living in California feel fortunate because "they make more than 90% of the world"? Is someone making $25,000 in the boonies of Alabama less well off than someone shacking up with 3 roommates in the bay area? By what metric other than absolute value (without accounting for CPI) is "being more rich than 90% of the world" defined by? Hell, I can get medicine in India for a fraction of a cent and in America the mark up is 80,000%! How am I fortunate under this new metric?

It holds absolutely zero basis in reality and is the kind of lying by statistics that is so obvious it's almost offensive. If you wanted to cite a real statistic talk about the opportunity cost of living in a poor area vs. a developed area. Comparing absolute dollar values is possibly the weakest argument for feeling fortunate you can come up with.

its the opportunity that makes the difference jn richness sure u can get the medicine fro a fra tion in india but u do NOT have that same opportunity as you got in america

Richness is still money at least in modern world

yes i too got same advises from my parents but i got to say for all of us here thats the invention of the middle class thats been sold to us by the rich, whom you can also become so, richness in money is NOT related whatsoever to health or time or anything else, its just your priorities, iam a firm subscriber to the rich dad poor dad theory

the middle class invented “ i dont need money to be happy” what the fuck is the relations ship with money and happiness

you can be either or or both or neither or one or the other at any given time

through out last 100 years the middle class absorbed these excuses to stay middle class because truthfully there isnt enough for everyone to get rich wholly

the good news is u can change the middle class mindset and u can become rich as easy as u change your mind, as well as on an individual money there is more than you can ever dream, why? Because the middle class wont wake up tomorrow or ever at all, but on an individual level u can wake ul any time, of course waking up to money is like anything rlse, so dont get emotional, its like waking up to fitness, or being vegetarian anything else. Dont confuse them

People always somehow mix up money with ither items
If this post said whos the fittest? No one would bring up money

if it said whos the happiest, quickly people bring up money? Why? Whats the relation?

rewind 500 years, your parents didnt tell u health is wealth, nor time is wealth, they told u and taight u that you need to learn how to survive for your selves and everyone had to learn how to survive, physically, there was no confusion of lifes priorities, survival everything else came
