I assume nothing. I see an increase in once eradicated diseases that coincides with an increase in illegals, especially young illegals entering the country, some being verified as carriers by border patrol. You can check vaccine records of everyone on every flight, but not everyone coming in across the border, unless you know something no one else does.

I never said I was talking about just measles. In fact, I don't think I singled out any single disease.

Correlation is not causation. And it doesn't matter what the disease is, though measles was the stimulus for this particular arc.

Those who get their medical advice from Jenny McCarthy needn't do anything. Let them die. Everyone else should get vaccinated.

My overriding concern in this area is the concern are for the overall risk and chaos caused by obama's anti public safety policies.

You must admit that your own diagram demonstrates that anti-vaxxers are distributed pretty evenly across the entire political spectrum (see the black line).

Interesting that we can take people's kids away if they're allowed to walk to school or to the park unsupervised, but it's perfectly okay to leave them vulnerable to whatever happens to be making the rounds.

If right-wingers want to be so cavalier about all this, why don't they give their children to someone who is interested in caring for them?

Come on, you can do better than this. Peanut allergies are genetic, measles is a highly contagious disease. We can't prove precisely who started it, but since it had been eradicated here for 30 years, we can assume an immigrant was responsible. Now where would an immigratn carrying measels most likely hail from? A european or asian country with universal vaccination, or some poor country with hit or miss health care?

The breitbart article didn't make much sense either. Just because it seemed to start at disney doesn't mean it had to be an immigrant visitor. They have thousands of low paid workers, many of whom are probably illegal. Any visitor who had been exposed in the recent past could also have brought the disease to Disney, where conditions were favorable for retransmission.

It is also a fact that these illegals have brought in many diseases that were totally or all but eradicated here. The suspicion that they are responsible here is not paranoia or anti-immigrant bigotry. It is just a matter of connecting dots.
