Its curious that some of you who are on this thread that are soooo outraged by abortion are on other threads freaking out about government social programs that support the poor and unemployed. Just exactly who do you think the majority of the girls getting abortions are? What social demographic exactly is it that you think the majority of them come from?

Least you forget they are getting abortions because they don't want the child for one reason or the other. What exactly do you propose we do with 40+ million unwanted children?

Before any of you give this crap about adoption being an answer to the problem, I'd like to know how many of you "outraged" people have adopted children from such circumstances.

One other thing: it seems that a lot of people have short memories about what was happening to these girls that were getting abortions before it was legal.

Right, you conveniently omitted the remaining part of the sentence about having a name and ever being seeing by anyone in the world which changes the entire context of my post.
