Good timing on a Don Bright thread as it appears he just hit the 10,000 post mark, possibly on this thread. Not sure if there was any fanfare or celebration to mark the event, sorry I missed it if there was, let me possibly be the first to say congrats Don!
Somewhere I do have a "Dow 10,000" hat and I am going to change the "w" to an "n" to read "Don 10,000" and wear it all day tomorrow.![]()

I was once of member of his brother's once renegade trading organization. At the time it was co headed by a man known as eddie to his top regional lieutenants. Eddies saying in the mid 90s was was: charts - every ship at the bottom of the sea has charts.
We were encouraged to watch our screens and search for patterns in the red and green codes we saw flashing. Patterns which could and did lead informational arbitrage opportunities. Some of the members were able to exploit the patterns for personal gain. Which was encouraged.
It is my undertanding Bob later joined his brother to expand the reach of the organization. Once Bob came into the headquarters of a competing organization... and I met the man.

LOL...if you had made it, you wouldn't be asking "Who's Don Bright?"
Not to mention, you could just call Bright Trading and ASK them what execution platform they use, etc etc. But wait, that would require effort on your part which is a big no no![]()
I won't be checking this thread so no need to post another useless shit reply. Good luck on getting an answer LOL![]()

Actually you got it backwards... Bob Bright is a legend in the trading world... the guy is a math genius and started out as a card counter in the 70's in the Vegas casinos... once he got blacklisted on the Griffin Book (which is where all successful blackjack card counters end up) he took his millions and headed to the floor of the CBOT and turned his millions into tens of millions in the options markets.
Now ET is full of not just Bright haters... but trader haters in general... so don't listen to them... make up your own mind... next time you're in Vegas go to their office and have a look around... they have a pretty impressive two story building which they own outright... and they have tons of traders there who have traded with them for 10+ years... you don't find that very often.
As to the original question of the original poster... Don Bright is Bob's brother and handles most of the marketing and communication with their traders. He's also a pretty good trader himself... although not legendary like Bob. He also talks a lot more than Bob![]()
