does anyone know who austin p is - i requested a performance profile from him to invest through his company coiled markets and he refused to honor my request -
any thoughts are appriciated-thanks in advance-
 
I am not or have ever been a subscriber to his "educational" services.......But I have followed his "blog"....and "public videos" for many years......and find them very good ! I am a fulltime trader and have been for 3 years........I trade TF [russell futures]...and Austin is a long time trader of this symbol and I appreciate his "insights" and "overall thoughts"....about this market and conditions in general.......I have my own trading methodology I have developed over the last 5 years.....based on "price action".....nothing to do with Austins method....When you listen to his videos...he is not trying to sell you anything......he mostly talks about the markets....and trading conditions......and the "mental aspects" of this game. It's just nice to hear another "perspective" from a long time trader ! I think its good stuff.....I know I have "picked up" some good things over the years just from listening or reading his "public" material and that is why I decided to give my opinion here !

I asked Austin some questions about futures trading a few months ago and he kindly answered my questions in a professional manner. He also posted a link once to some of his public material and I found it to be excellent, though I struggle every day with totally implementing it because unfortunately I still indulge in TWT (Thinking While Trading).

Keep in mind that it's what you can learn from someone and your own ability to implement it that will make all the difference in your progress as a trader, not someone's individual performance.

I'm sure Red_Ink who makes a gazillion dollars a day could teach me his exact trading methodology and I would likely end up quite unprofitable if his style didn't fit into my own comfort zone.
 
so does he actually have clients -and does he provide a performance proflie for his company -
was curious how well he really does if he refuses to send the profile -
