Who is actually making money trading?

I think that small capital is good to start trading and testing the broker processes like withdrawals, some also make dual earning through trading and referrals (IB) however i better suggest sticking to trading only.

I agree a good way to test a broker is to open a cash account, real, what do you think of DEMO accounts that brokers offer? They are actually identical to a real account in every aspect?

I think real market condition remain same, but might on real account will different server and might as trader will get experience in real account if they joined on dealing desk broker might often faced requote or something else

My opinion on demo account is that they are more or less very similar to the real accounts with only difference of virtual money and that they should be practiced even if anyone is trading on live accounts as it is one of the biggest asset of any successful trader.

Most difference between demo and real account is about psychology trading, usually in real account they use emotion like as fear, greedy, anxiety, panic etc, while in demo account usually free from emotion pressure

A lot of the profitable traders who were once active on here have left. I remember being in a private thread with a few of them and we were discussing setting up a way for us to chat amongst one another outside of ET because the forums have turned into a place of extreme pessimism. Guys who were making money would try to share helpful tips and their thread/comment would be overrun with people arguing the opposite and people got tired of it.

That's because posters are anonymous and human nature makes it easier to be critical than supportive...

I understand not taking someone at their word but to turn ET into a battleground for "my method is better than yours" and/or threads pushing the narrative "your chances of making money trading is abysmal" was pushing it.

Obviously making money with trading is not easy like as in imagination, which forex trading is remain risky and might not every trader able increasing their money in account, but still many trader learn how to make money with forex

Yes there is a lot of negativity.
I did a quick look at your posting history, see you asking a lot of questions. Good. Here is the tough love though, if you gotta be asking so much you are likely on a losing path. This path could be tuition or failure. I observe failure in real life and think I do online. My advice would be to give up, focus on a real career.
