who is a good trader

Literally read it 3 times.

Is it like studying Gann and you have to be one of the chosen few to get it?
%%
NO since you are a leader reader, you get this.
Best points or % off that post follows
1 ] Politeness pays.[And dont you prefer polite also??]
2]Cash copper pays, not that all want the same business.
3]Giving pays , dont have to be Bill Gates or MSFT to do that tech has had sucha good run\ sold\ exits today.
4]Giving pays even if just a few minutes of your time /putting your up shopping cart., in proper place. Thats why MRS Meyers snapped, put your shopping cart up. Some one dumped a lead battery in WMT parking lot/good thing copper dealer buys lead.
5] V-Verizon customer service lady was real polite, nota stock tip- but nice doing business with her
Like you said ''TA is only small part of it, '' so i know this stuff works also

Sorry,I still dont get it.

She asked what makes a good trader.

I think youre saying that its politeness in business and every day habits? Then something about copper or cash?

Thats why I asked if its a cryptic response.Not sure how you are answering the question.

I'm not even sure what a leader reader is,though from context,and the usual temperament that Ive observed,it is not an insult?

Ok; if you dont trade those then it may not help.
As far as Gann;
any measure could help. I dont consider it an insult, non readers may LOL:D:D
4/8=1/2=50%
8/8=100%. Most in home improvement business use 50 foot tape.
Sure everyday habits help ;
cash copper is a choice of mine, yes I know most dont want to do that.

A good trader makes money. None of what you listed is a requirement to make money....so therefore none of what you listed is a requirement of a good trader.
A good trader knows how to profit without relying on specific requirements? Why isn't necessarily essential for a successful trader?

There is no correct answer as to where to place stops. There are pros and cons to having them tighter and looser.

IMV the most logical place for stops is "just the other side" of Support or Resistance. If the market moves against you, hopefully the functions of S or R will keep your stop from being hit. You expect S/R will keep you from being stopped out and you hope it will, of course. But when it fails, you have to recognize that and not give the trade the chance to move against you in a big way.
Absolutely, different individuals have varied experiences, knowledge, and preferences. This rings true especially in trading, where there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer for placing stops.
