Unless your targets are quite modest, I think that's a bit ambitious. My own, more humble question is: could this price action be a springboard for a few ticks in my direction past my point of entry, whereupon I can play it by ear as price evolves (i.e., manage the trade)?

i have endured not only his books...all of them....but also all his public videos that i could find.

i am married to him since 2007.....

reading his books will not make you money.....because he discusses so many aspects of market that it can baffle you and that it it would drive any sane man crazy,
luckily i was crazy before i met him so i cannot sue him.

i have tried a lot of his stuff but you have to find something that makes you money,

i think you see a lot of good in Brooks like i did since you are like me....not giving up on him, not cursing him, not trying to shoot him......

buy low sell high.... buy low in channel sell high in channel....

but do you draw channels?.......do you know what channel is and how to draw them ?

since markets move in bands you need to understand them or you can never make money

obviously you do not know what is scalping.

risk reward of 1:2 or even 1:4 is ok for scalping because you are taking only high probability trades with small rewards but high win rate .

i suggest you understand what is the difference between swing and scalp before making fun of anybody

i have tried it but ..... did not find any value for 5 minute time frame. for longer time frames like hourly and above it may be critical.
for daily time frame i think it is critical and it can add value to any strategy or way of thinking, that already has value.

but is there anyone who trades volume only?

Brooks is not unique and he is not from Mars.

he calls abc corrections as two legs ....the only thing unique about Brooks is his terminology and you do not need to understand that to understand markets or make money

Dude, where the hell ya been? You got me worried. I thought you bit the dust yet again. :)

BTW weren't you idolizing Brooks as your savior just a few months ago? What you wrote above sounds like a betrayal, an act of outright treason. What's gotten into your head? Oh, I know what happened, that bar-by-bar analysis and the second entries totally fried your brain. Man, you need to go in for a repair, and sooner the better.

Anyway, welcome back. Hope you stay for good this time. :D
