Who has read Al Brooks books?

Instead of time based, use volume based chart.

How many people have actually read an Al Brooks book in it's entirety please? I can't read mine (Reading Price Charts), I give up and go and read other trading Books. I believe there's probably valuable information in it, but it's just hard to read compared to other trading Books.

Show yourselves please, those who have endured reading a whole Book of his. You are Heroes to me, Ironmen and women. I'm going to try again.

We need The Great @padutrader back to summarize them for us.

I have his first book but never made it very far. He wrote it as though English was his 22nd language and he was three years old at the time. And we're supposed to believe this guy was an eye surgeon?

Everything I know from Brooks I got from his video course. The information is top-notch, even if his narration is several miles from "edge of your seat."

Instead of time based, use volume based chart.

In what way do you find volume based charts better?

I do use them myself as my "fast" charts, but mostly out of habit. I wouldn't say to someone they should use volume based instead of time based as I couldn't claim it makes a difference.

I did the video course. BUT TA alone does not make you a great trader. Just let me say you this.

The information is top-notch. Whether one is able to convert that information ino a profitable trading plan and then whip himself into line to follow said plan is a whole other level of top-notchedness.

The best indicator of price is price itself.
Good Morning volpri,

You are absolutely correct. Who cares about volume, when price is the master of all masters.

There is one thing about price behavior and price dynamics and price velocity and price momentum and price acceleration and price slowness and price speed is that price never lies to me, it tells me the truth every second day to day.

Men lie, women lie, but price never lies.

I've read the three newer books. Very helpful. Didn't bother with the video course. I don't use volume.

Some things he writes about didn't fully "click" until after I had back-tested ideas and saw the connection for myself.
