Who else thinks Swift canada is toast?

Actually i wasn't accusing you Wayne, thats why i put the --- before adressing you. I was just commenting on the fact i was surprised to see your earlier post on this silly thread. But thanks for putting me in my place. Hope you guys keep killing it and maybe one day you'll be able to afford some class.

And as for you Loper, i made the comment about lippy because i thought he had said some hypocrtical things on this thread like being shocked that no one left swift for O's when he himself didn't go to O's either. And i only made the comment because i knew how well he's been doing since feb. and i knew he wouldn't be offended by it.
 
Maybe we can all agree that prop trading in our little city (victoria) and accross canada there are a number of factors. Some people value money the most, others personal relationships/loyalty, others fear of leaving the womb, and who knows what else. For me, lippy, trailer park, mm, red ink, pirate yarr, its about cash... bottom line. Sure we had some stupid shit happen to us at swift and sure it might be perfect now, but i dont see swift apologizing for anything, so we arent going to either. To each there own....
 
Whatever Loper. You're the only one who was offended by that post. Why? i have no clue. I simply read thru this thread and from lippy's comments it sounded like everything had been roses for him since he left swift and i just wanted to point out that it doesn't matter how good your software is or what % you're gettting if you're getting your ass handed to you every day like he was. I unlike you, would never have posted such a comment in feb. but now that he's on pace to be a millinaire i thought it would be okay to post and i used phil so that it would be funny, which it was. So why don't you go attack some trader that's actually had a red day in the past 2 years (and yes, lots of those days were in the 1's and 2's, especially about the time you were trying to sell cars i believe).

anyways szeven had a good point, i often questioned why certain traders do what they do but he is right everyone has their own agenda, whether it is to make more money or just have good personal relationships i guess there is different benefits for everyone.

hahaha i think yer getting the wrong impression of swift, everyone bitches but in terms of being laid back, you will never find a prop firm that is better in terms of taking shit lightly. the bottom line is i have walked away after losing 30k in a day laughing cause there is nothing else you can do, and it doesnt turn into a ream out session, keep in mind i had numerous 15-20k
days. But i mean at the same time for alot of traders when you get to that level the bottom line is the "dolllar" and personal enjoyment no longer matters.

Hey, let me just post what i actually wanted to post before i apparently mortally offended some of my ex-friends. szeven is of course right, to each his own. I just think the swift bashing is a bit much now especially since it's the managers and not the traders who are really getting hammered. seriously, could we have ever imagined when we were all bashing swift 5 years ago when we made 30% and paid 18 cents a trade that now we can make 50% and pay 1 cent per trade? is that not adapting? Of course it's still not good enough to keep people like MM and RED and Pirate because they can make more elsewhere.So be it. So why keep bashing Swift? ya the software is near the bottom compared to laser and such but all systems have their problems and hopefully swift will continue to get better(this year has been by far their best). Of couse you guys may be right, swift Canada may be gone tomorrow but i think you guys are in hope mode with that. And hey, at least it's the traders that have the options now. Of course i am seen as completely biased and am apparently one of the worst traders on the face of the earth so feel free to disregard this post!
