Who else thinks Swift canada is toast?

I have been keeping an eye on this thread. I am a proud swift trader and I actually left a much better deal to return to 30% because I like the branch manager....actually that's not true...I love him. I love a lot of men actually but that's a moot point. I fully support swift trade!

The grey boxes are virtually obsolete and the software has dramatically improved! I am a total yes vote for Swift!

It's been a while phil, what are you doing later? We should hang out! :D

Hayden, or sorry, Acadia...it's ok that you can log on as "phil" and diss people but as soon as someone does the same to you you get all upset and cry about it. You thought it was funny when you did it but I guess when the shoe is on the other foot it's not so funny hey? Maybe you should not be insulting anyone on here, go back to trading your 100 share lots. And MM is one of the best scalpers out there! His numbers don't lie...

Almost anywhere in the world including US/CANADA/UE and I am sure countless others the statment is non-binding. As you are a specialist you cannot be forbidden from doing your job as you need to put food on the table for your baby mama and no judge will starve your baby mamas baby. The only way to enforce this is if you are stealing secrets, which you are not, unless the company developed some propriatery software, and you steal it and use it but this is still hard to enforce. The other way to enforce is to pay you not to trade for 2 years, which is great you sit home and do nothing and they give you a salary which was the same as when you worked there, no business in their right mind will do this especialy in trading.

Hope tha helps. Plus in a lot of countries the courts will take long time to hear these cases as they deal with other stuff and by that time the original company could be out of business. PLus it takes money to hire lawyers etc, swift thinks all traders are replacable so specailly them will not do anything. Those statments in those contracts are there to scare kids like you and it obviously worked. There is stuff on elite trader about this before, its called golden handcuffs. Search it up there is more legalese to be found around.
