Who else thinks Einhorn is fishy?

What's the purpose of Buffet coming on TV and saying what stock he bought? Is he also immoral and will Buffet also go to jail for 'manipulating the markets'?
 
am i the only one here currently reading his book? short seller's like Einhorn may be the most ethical of all investors if he gets shareholders out of these dog's before it is too late. imagine if you had your life savings in a company that einhorn found out to be a fraud and his (or any reputable short seller) analysis convinced you to get out just in time?

why would you have your life savings in a company?

He is self serving. That's an opinion. But let's see how it plays out. And I think he's made some HUGE, Spitzer style, enemies. Fun to watch.
 
So far Einhorn looks very clever.

But I say this, assuming Pimco did not stop trading with LEH, then whoever spread that rumor should receive the death penalty, enacted immediately.

Pimco denies that rumor.

i read his book. the condition of the SBA is as corrupt as the rest of the bank system. the guy has real huevos to take the heat that he does on some of his short position - more than i do, thats for sure.

he and other short sellers were being demonized. read the boook: the guy lays it out for anyone willing to take 1/2 a day and understand his position. he's not telling you or anyone else to short it - he is laying it out.
 
Bill Gross says no cutoff of LEH.

That means rumors were lies.

I demand criminal investigation here.

Even if the shorts are right, we need the death penalty for passing FALSE rumors.

Now.

Why? Because only the fear of death will stop these vultures.
