Who do you think is the all time best trader in the world?

He didn't kill himself when he had money before? What's changed now? It's because he had no money and felt he could no longer make them back; that was the real issue that triggered depression. And HOW did he end up with no money? His lack of solid consistent system, lack of sound risk and money management and listening to others with no independent judgment, all traits of a not so good trader. How much he made at one point is irrelevant. You can't keep what you've made equals to you've made nothing. All of the rest of the good traders that have been mentioned in this thread have all kept what they've made. So what are they then?

If he's got money left, why would he be depressed? Probably you still would, majority of us wouldn't. LOL Shorted TWO times and got lucky and you count them as a good trader? Shows how you trade. LOL And according to your criteria, I would be a way better trader than him. I have shorted LOT more times than him and have profited. LOL
Robin Williams, Marilyn Monroe, Kurt Cobain and many more, none lacked for money.

IMO it is kind of a pointless question.
The modern titans of trading have made their money by building amazing teams.
Even if you take someone like Buffet...give me Charlie Munger and I am a way better trader too.

My ex-wife.

Traded nothing of value for 2 houses and 6 figures in cash...

There was a guy locally who did the math on 18 years of child support and potential lifetime alimony (they'd been married for a long time before kids) and decided he'd prefer the finality of a criminal court. If more guys do that, they'll ease up real quick. He was a money maker.

I know in my case, I haven't had a single dollar in child support even though I've had primary residence/full custody since separation. Lawyers won't even file for child support against a woman. (I got full custody because I ended up proving the custody evaluator was submitting false testimony - that was dramatic but fun - it's nice to own the system sometimes)

That's how it works in the western family court system. Usually the wife is considered to be the one with less ability to pay, so if you get full custody, she won't have to pay but if she gets full custody then you have to pay. This is starting to change now with more and more women earning more income. More women are seeing themselves paying child support now when the husband is getting full custody https://www.marketwatch.com/story/m...-alimony-and-child-support-2018-05-17-1882442

You have 1) divorced too early and 2) are too loaded, @nooby_mcnoob. LOL If you are divorcing now and are like this gym personal trainer in the article, you would've been the one getting the money too. :) Or you get divorced in Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia or China then yeah you get to keep everything and the wife gets nothing.

You asked why a rich person would commit suicide, Pekelo told you. These are examples.

No my question was "why Jesse Livermore specifically would commit suicide later and not before"? I didn't refer to any other rich people. Nobody on ET can read today.
