who can be the best Mentor

I don't know why people get aggressive or surprised when I ask for a mentor.
I am sure if someone needs to learn Martial art or swimming he would need a coach. Just reading from books will give an overview about the concepts but will not give a detailed or fine tuning for the technique.
Learning a new language can happen also from books but you would need a teacher to fine tune your pronunciation and conversation skills.

I see trading is the same. you need someone to fine tune your technique instead of reverse engineering the wheel !

Delta1 is difficult to mentor. So much is subjective unless you're trading algo.

Yes I can. A lot of what I see here is negativity, not reality. He asks for a mentor and people say there is no one who will help is not reality, it is negativity.

There have been good people run off for trying to help new traders keep out of trouble. What typically is left are the negative ones who are angry with the world.

This is the business we've chosen, I didn't ask who gave the order, cause it had nothing to do with business!

Mentoring delta1 only works over a series of daily skype chats/whiteboards. Like 90 days. It's just too nuanced to stick to a ruleset. Top-down is the only thing that works, IMO. Same with options due to complexity.

well, one can always offer his own services and method to share... to show to the world the positivity and camaraderie of trader's community... no takers?

imho the guy was given here plenty of suggestions and advice for starters to think about

it may sound negative , but that is a reality of the field where 99 of 100 get killed in the process

#2 is spot on. First you have to determine what kind of trader you are. That took me a long time to figure out.
