Who are some LEGIT Retails that "made it"?

True, this place is largely a waste of time with little to nothing to be gained.
It appears to be a natural occurance the old hands on ET peel off away from the forum due to lack of interest.
Every subject has been discussed countless times mostly.
As well, the seasoned traders have found their trading niche and there is not a lot more that outside assistance can do to assist.
But I still find ET interesting enough, I have scores of no hopers and agro posters heavily filtered out, they are the time wasters and a distraction which I'm not interested to read their point of view and I find that helps.
There are numerous noobs and bots on ET which post mundane comments, lacking depth or education, they are screened out too. It all assists.
If you think of X (Twitter) full of trolls and bots and Russians along with an idiot like Musk running the show, there is little incentive for intelligent discussion.

ICT - Inner Circle Trader aka Michael J Huddleston fits that bill.

He currently has a cult following on Twitter and released a ton of free content on YT. He makes live calls fairly regularly.

He has a bunch of students whom done very well and they haven’t been financial industry insiders.

He also has a ton of critics. As a devout Christian, he has as acknowledged his bi-polar handicap but claims his OCD is what supported him in his success. He study Larry Williams early in his career and has developed his own language to communicate his concepts. Much is rebranded but much is also fairly unique to his perspective.

Trader Roundup aka ICT_Concepts, as a twitter space, generally hosts many of the devotees of the method.

Then you also have a bunch of crypto bros on crypto Twitter that have made bank.

Cool, haven't come across this take down from yet another YouTuber I know nothing about.

There's a whole segment of folks that have built their following just trolling ICT.. vinniemini is one that consistently gets under Michael's skin.

Had a chance to listen a bit, that’s a pretty funny compilation of ICT rants.

The troll has 80k followers and still not profitable. He rehashes many criticisms, some with foundational validity, some easily refuted and others as wild claims.

All that said, I studied ICT for about a year. His work was a stepping stone in my development as a trader. In general, it’s a coherent body of work and there are those that claim it was a turning point for their journey toward profitability.

I’m much more statistical focused now on high R:R and low WR trading - training to handle size that would make my earlier self hands sweat.

Wow really. I thought you were one of the few sharpies here.

I dont think anybody would make a +40min video just to troll someone. The guy had audio recordings and screenshots of all the communications/charts to prove his points.

COme on maaan (Biden's voice)

I think the theme for a lot of of these trainers is that they teach you patterns that work sometimes.

Maybe I should train people honestly if it's this easy to make money training. I think I got a decent credentials to do it...

$2000/person seem reasonable right guys?

lol, ok..
apparently you have not come across vinnyemini who does them measured in hours.

While the 40m troll is mostly rants (taken out of their original context) and edited to support the agenda of the OP, one can just go to twitter and see the live trades on the timeline. There are some of the faithful that have posted charts with ICT's timestamped tweets embedded. If you're truly curious he's has about a month before he (his claim) ghosts SM, so his YT live streams reveal his thought process as he constructs his trades.

If he's a fraud to you, there's nothing that will change that other than your own DD. As I've stated before, you can find his students that have receipts that claim validity of the methodology.

As for creating your own mentorship, have at it. I've seen some of his students (not very good ones) pull $200k in a week by offering clarity through private mentorships around ICT's teachings. Most of ICT's rants are directed towards that crowd and the one's that have repackaged his private content as their own.

I'm just the messenger here, do your own DD.

ymmv

This is intriguing because at one point you were a heavy proponent and student of Jack Hershey.

Did you abandon that path completely?
