Mitt Romney: I Would Have Done A Better Job Than Obama
WASHINGTON (AP) — Former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney says there is no question in his mind that he would have been more effective in the White House than President Barack Obama. But he reiterates he has no plans to run again.
My time has come and gone, Romney told Fox News Sunday.
Romney cited continuing high U.S. unemployment and growing troubles abroad, and that some of those who voted for Obama might now have some buyer's remorse.
Yet he said he didn't want to dwell on the past, while admitting he had made mistakes in his campaign — and that the Obama campaign did a good job on picking up on them.
Romney said, "I'm not running and not planning on running."

Thank goodness. We need a candidate who actually is prepared to do whatever is necessary to win.
Some street smarts, sadly lacking in Romney, and some backbone would be helpful.

PASADENA HILLS, Mo—Martise Scott had made it. He escaped the inner-city ghetto of north St. Louis, went to college, and got hired as a police officer for the St. Louis County Police Department. It was 1985, and he was one of about 50 black officers in a force of about 700. etc etc

I'm sure it was tough for this guy. Guess what, it's tough for poor whites who don't get the advantage of all the affirmative action , quota programs pushed by the government and businesses.
I refuse to buy the "poor me" story, the " blacks have to be twice as good" etc, because my own experience teaches me the exact opposite. Any half competent black gets every advantage possible these days. It's white men who have to be twice as good, or more commonly have rich parents who can wire things for them.
Maybe this guy got odd looks from homeowners not expecting a black cop. Who cares? Look at it as an opportunity to show them they are wrong. He had one bad encounter with local cops? Ever see Serpico? It happens. Get over it or let it define your whole life. Your choice.

Surely we can do better than Romney.
And the percentage of black men 20 and older working in America?
All inclusive or just the few that actually want to work?
BLS doesn't have LFPR for African Americans. Just "other than hispanic origin", which includes blacks, asians, indians, etc.
I can give you that stat if you would like, but I have a feeling you're really only fixated on blacks.
